Combination tool consisting of a corkscrew and a lifter for removing edged capsules with a tool body which is equipped with a corkscrew helix and with a lifter head having a capsule-gripping section. Corkscrew helix and lifter head extend away from opposite ends of an intermediate section which is provided with a coupling device for the detachable application of a cover cap which can be put over the corkscrew helix. In the tool body, there is formed a bore which is directed transversely to the longitudinal axis of the corkscrew helix and through which the cover cap can be pushed. This bore extends through the capsule-gripping section of the lifter head (Fig. 3). <IMAGE>
