PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature rise of an image forming body and to prevent the generation of a dewdrop at the time of stop of an operation by providing a shielding member for shielding an intermediate transfer body side against the image forming body side. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate transfer body 5 is press-contacted to the image forming body 1, and a recording paper pressure roller 6 is press-contacted to the intermediate transfer body 5. Also, this device is provided with a shielding member 7 for shielding the intermediate transfer body 5 side against the image forming body 1 side. According to such a constitution, air heated by a heat source 5A and 6A of the intermediate transfer body 5 side is reduced to shift to the image forming body 1 and to prevent the temperature rise of the image forming body 1, etc. and a drop of an image forming capacity. Also, it is prevented that vapor from recording paper, etc. Flows into the image forming body 1, etc. at the time of stop of an operation to form a dewdrop by natural cooling. |
