In the case of training clothing, comprising a jacket which has a slit at the front and a fastener as well as a pair of trousers with long legs, the invention provides that the jacket and the trousers form a one-piece suit which is slit from the shoulders to below the waist and is closed by two flaps which fold one over the other, are tailored to correspond to each other and have converging edges running in each case from the ends of the slit, and also each have a belt starting at a point of the flap, with one belt drawn through an opening above the waist and one belt laid over the hips, the suit being adaptable to the respective waist size and arm and leg movement by wrapping the belt round the waist and by gussets inserted into the crotch and the armpits in the sleeves.
