PURPOSE:To listen to prescribed traffic information by stopping the operation of a switch control circuit while a high-level signal is outputted from a discriminating circuit to a line to stop the scanning of reception of radio broadcast. CONSTITUTION:Voltage setters A1, A2...An are provided in correspondence to carrier frequencies of plural radio broadcasts and each output is outputted to a line 61 connected to a tuner 53 via switches B1, B2...Bn. Further, these switches are controlled by a signal from a switch controlling circuit 91 via stable circuits S1, S2...Sn. Each radio broadcast transmits a decoration signal of a prescribed frequency, a start identification signal, traffic information and an end identification signal in this order during transmission. All the radio broadcasts are received and scanned cyclically during the duration period of the decoration signal and a demodulated output from the tuner 53 is given to an identification circuit 72. Further, while a high-level signal is outputted from the circuit 72, the reception scanning of the radio broadcast is stopped and the traffic information is listened to. |
