PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction in the steps and the number of components and the cost of a brush holder by performing the assembly of the brush holder with a pawl formed at a holder plate and the fixture of a brush pigtail. CONSTITUTION:After the pawls 1a, 1c of a holder plate 1 are respectively inserted into holes 2b, 2c of a brush holder 2a, the pawl 1a is twisted fixedly, and the pawl 1c is folded. In this case, the terminal of the brush pigtail 4 is interposed by the pawl 1c and press-bonded, and welded. Then, after the brush 3 is contained in the brush holder 2a, a brush spring 5 is supported by the stepped shape 1b of the pawl 1a to retain the brush 3. |
