PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a motor and simplify the whole structure of a pump by installing an underwater bearing for supporting a thrust load in the lowest part of a vertical type submersible pump and obviating the necessity of receiving the thrust load by a motor on the group part. CONSTITUTION:An underwater bearing 8 as rotary machine is connected by being supported by a thrust bearing 22 and a radial bearing 17 which are lubricated by lubricating oil, at the lower edge of a submersible pump part 5 which is directly connected to a motor (not shown in the figure) on the ground, and driven. The shaft 4 of the submersible pump is further elongated downward from a strainer 6 and fixed with the shaft 11 of the underwater bearing 8 with a same shaft core, and the casing in the submersible pump part 5 is fixed with the casing of the underwater bearing 8 at the lower edge of the strainer part 6. Therefore, the necessity of receiving a load by the motor on the ground is obviated, and the structure of the motor can be simplified, and the whole structure of the pump can be simplified. |
