PURPOSE:To attain readout in a fast speed without uselessness in read cycle by splitting a block of a photo-reacting sensor element into blocks of an odd number and an even number and selecting and reading the blocks alternately. CONSTITUTION:Block selecting switches SW'1-SW'4 are connected in parallel with a power line lO. Photo reactive type sensor elements S'1-S'12 are connected in parallel at each three blocks at the post-stage of the switches SW'1- SW'4. A signal line of the elements S'1-S'3, S'7-S'9 of the blocks of an odd number is connected in parallel with read lines rl'1-rl'3, and the signal line of the elements S'4-S'6, S'4-S'6, S'10-S'12 of an even number of blocks is connected in parallel with read lines rl'4-rl'6. In the constitution like this, a voltage is applied sequentially in overlapping timewise with adjacent two blocks to select alternately the blocks of an odd number and an even number and read them sequentially. Thus, even if the application of a voltage is required in advance before the read, the data is read in a fast speed. |
