Fibres are disaggregated in a preset pressurised device. Raw material in pieces, without liquid, is introduced and are pressurised to soften them. They are then refined, to produce long fibres which are discharged without entrainment of treatment fluid, giving a high yield of high-quality fibres. Apparatus is described. |
