PURPOSE:To attain magnification of nonintegral ratio between 1 and 2 times in a high speed by reading twice repetitively an original data before magnification corresponding to a bit at each bit interval determined depending on a magnification factor. CONSTITUTION:M,O,N-M (where M,N are integral numbers and M<N<2M) are stored respectively in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd x-bit registers 1-3. First, an adder 4 compares contents of the register 2 with those of the register 3 and the result of addition is stored in the register 2. Then, a comparator 6 compares contents M of the register 1 with contents (N-M) of the register 2. When the relation of M<3(N-M) is obtained by repeating this operation, a pulse signal is outputted from a monostable multivibrator 7 and given to a parallel/series converter 11. On the other hand, the original data before magnification is fed one by one word to the converter 11 of an image converting circuit B and the data is converted serially and stored in a series/parallel converter 12, and an output is obtained after the data is stored by one word's share. When a pulse is outputted from the monostable multivibrator 7, the previous data is inputted from the converter 11 to the converter 12. |
