PURPOSE:To make it possible to atomize injected fuel by intake-air stream even upon low-load operation, by injecting fuel substantially at the time corresponding to the crank angle at which the flow rate of engine intake-air becomes maximum. CONSTITUTION:By reading out final fuel injection amount data at step 7, the duration of fuel injection in term of engine crank angle is obtained in accordance with the fuel injection amount data and crank angle data which are calculated on the bais of engine speed data. At step 8, the crank angle at which the flow rate of engine intake-air becomes maximum is obtained. At step 9, a fuel injection timing by which fuel injection is terminated at the thus obtained crank angle is obtained. Thereby, injected fuel is sufficiently atomized by the stream of intake-air stream even upon low load operation. |
