PURPOSE:To prevent an accident caused by explosion, by setting specified procedures stored in ROM, and by predicting a danger by the input data of kinds of gas and kinds of meter and the input signal of the flow rate of gas. CONSTITUTION:A flow rate sensor 2 is fitted to a gas meter 1, and a signal from the sensor 2 is put into a micro-computer 5. A signal from a switch 6 to select the kind of gas and the one from a switch 7 to select the kind of gas meter are also put into the micro-computer. The micro-computer 5 takes a specified procedures stored in ROM as a program, determines the rate of gas passing through the gas meter based on the input data from switches 6 and 7 and the input signal of the flow rate by the flow rate sensor 2, and predicts the possibility of a danger. By this method, a gas shut-off device which has very high general utilities can be obtained, and as a result, various selection operational errors during operation can be prevented. |
