Compounds of the formula: >and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, wherein; Y is halo, alkoxy or alkyl; a is 0 or 1; b is an integer from 2-12 with the proviso that if b is 2 or 3, a cannot be 0; and X is selected from in which each R<1> is independently alkyl or phenyl or in -NHR2<1>, both R<1> together are alkylene; and R<2> is cycloalkyl or phenyl; have antiinflammatory properties and are useful in the treatment of conditions characterized by inflammation and swelling.
