PURPOSE:To control load current through current controlling transistors (TRs) with the minimum power consumption by keeping the ratio of emitter current to base current of the current controlling TR always constant. CONSTITUTION:A load 2 is connected between the collectors of the current controlling TRs Tr1, Tr2 and the emitter of the TR Tr1 is earthed through a current ditecting resistor R1 and also connected to one terminal sides of amplifiers 1, 5. The output of the amplifier 1 is distributed by a distributer 8; one output is applied to the base of the TR Tr1 and the other is applied to the + terminals of a current detecting resistor R5 and the amplifier 5 respectively. The output amplifier 5 controls the TR Tr2. Said constitution makes it possible to keep the ratio of the emitter current of the current controlling TR to the base current always constant. Therefore, the load can be controlled by the controlling TRs with the minimum power consumption. |
