PURPOSE:To unlock a locking means at the coincidence of an identification number formed by the data of a basic part in a magnetic card with an identification number inputted from a ten-key, and to display inconsistency on a display part at the time of inconsistency to prevent illegal use of the card by comparing both identification numbers. CONSTITUTION:An identification number memorized by a contractor is inputted to an operation controlling part 3 by manual operation through the ten-key 1 in a personal identification system and a part of an identification number recorded in a magnetic card is read out by a magnetic card reader 2 and inputted to a control part 3. The control part 3 is provided with an identification number generating means applying operation individual for the system to the partial identification number read out by the reader 2 and forming the identification number to which an obtained security code is applied. The identification number inputted from the ten-key 1 is compared with that from the identification number generating means by a comparing means, and at the time of coincidence, a locklocking/unlocking means part 5 is controlled through a driving part 4 to unlock the locking means. In case of inconsistency, the contents are displayed on the display part 6 to prevent illegal use of the magnetic card. |
