PURPOSE:To set up upper and lower limit values simply and rapidly by calculating the upper and lower limit values for discriminating abnormality on the basis of an observed value at the normal operation of a cascade plant. CONSTITUTION:Detectors 8-11 measure the water levels of a landing well 2, a diversion well 3, a filter pond 4, and a pure water reservoir 5 respectively. An operator's console 6 inputs an upper limit value ratio x% and a lower limit value ratio y% for discriminating the abnormality through a controlling computer 7. Subsequently, the water levels at the normal operation are observed. If observed values PVi (i=8-11) are obtained, a water level upper limit absolute value SHi and a water level lower limit absolute value SLi are calculated by formulas I , II respectively and stored in the computer 7. These upper and lower limit absolute values are used for the upper and lower limit values for discriminating the water level abnormality monitoring. Thus, the upper and lower limit values for discriminating the abnormality can be set up simply and rapidly. |
