<p>PURPOSE:To enable a sheet of paper to be smoothly inverted and conveyed without causing any paper jam even if the sheet of paper is curled, by providing a swinging member, always urged to the inside of a Y-shaped branch part and guiding the inverted sheet in the reverse direction, in an inverting chute part. CONSTITUTION:If a sheet P, introduced into a passage 2 from a station A, is adapted to a swinging rib plate 19, the rib plate 19 is moved outward of a guide plate 18 by conveying force of the sheet P to open a sheet outlet part of the passage 2, and the sheet P advances into an inverting chute part 1. Next, outputting an off-signal from a detector 22 and converting paired rollers 3 to be rotated in the forward direction, the sheet P is retracted into the inverting chute part 1, and if its rear end Pb passes through a branch part S, the rib plate 19 closes outputting an on-signal from the detector 22, and the paired rollers 3 are reversely rotated then reversing the sheet P, thus its rear end side Pb is guided along a plate side 19e to advance into a conveying path 4. That is, a side port of the branch part S is closed facing the side 19e toward the direction of the conveying path 4, accordingly the sheet, even if it is curled, is surely guided in the direction of the conveying path 4.</p> |
