PURPOSE:To set the position of a die without requiring time and labor by providing a positioning means which slides face-symmetrically with the center of the die in an adequate position as the point of symmetry. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 12 is rotated by a driving device 10 and positioning blocks 6, 6 are moved while the space between the blocks 6 and 6 is checked with the scale 4 on a bolster 2 so that said space is made wider than the width of the die to be mounted. The die is placed on the stepped parts 7, 7 of the blocks 6, 6. Supporting materials 25, 25 are slid toward the inside and positioning arms 23, 23 are symmetrically moved by moving the arms 23 or displacement moving device 30, thereby grasping the die with the arms 23, 23. The shaft 12 is again rotated by the device 10 to move the blocks 6, 6 toward the symmetrical surface of the blocks 6, 6, thereby grasping the die. Nuts 20 of tightening means 17 are tightened up to fix the bolster 2 to the blocks 6 and the die. |
