PURPOSE:To reduce the load on a press-contacting driving motor and to increase the distance between a pinch roller and a capstan shaft by moving fastly the pinch roller until the pinch roller abuts on the capstan shaft, and reducing the load on an operation switching means while the pinch roller abuts to generate a press-contacting force. CONSTITUTION:A driving pin 32 abuts on a link 38 at a position E by the rotation of a changeover cam 34. Therefore, a press-contacting arm 42 gives a press- contacting force to a pinch roller arm. The force of a spring 28 is received at a contact part 26 and the pinch roller arm generates no rotating force. When the cam 34 further rotates, the arm 46 is rotated in a direction G and the pinch roller 12 abuts on the capstan shaft 10. The contact part 26 leaves the arm 46 at a position D where the cam 34 makes one turn, and the force of the spring 28 is reduced to turning moment in G direction, generating press-contacting force between the roller 12 and shaft 10. Maximum torque is applied to the changeover cam 34 until the contact part 26 in the abutting state leaves the arm. A rod 40 is constituted near the center axis 36 of the cam 34, so the load on the cam 34 is small. |
