<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a single phase submersible motor and to improve the workability by constructing to watertightly contain arrester means connected to a power feed cable and a starting switch unit which is connected to the arrester means in the inner periphery of or in the vicinity of a power source side connector which is coupled to the power feed cable. CONSTITUTION:A power source side connector 14 which is made of a conductive material and is coupled to a power feed cable 15 is watertightly engaged at one end with a bottomed hole 4a, detachably coupled to a stator side female connector 12, passed at the intermediate via a through hole 6e, and movably engaged at the other end with a notch 6d. Arresting means 29 is composed of surge absorber elements 25-27 and a ground wire 28. Arrester means 29 and a start switch unit 16 are watertightly contained via a watertight sealer made of an insulator filled and solidified in the inner periphery of the connector 14. In this manner, the structure can be simplified, and the workability such as disassembling and assembling can be improved.</p> |
