<p>PURPOSE:To enable the speed suppressing operation of an electric rolling stock by providing an armature current detector, a shunt field current detector, a brake force monitor controller, a master controller and a field chopper. CONSTITUTION:A brake force monitor controller 24 is provided, and an armature current detector 16 and a field current detector 17 are connected to the controller 24. The detector 17 is connected also to a field chopper 15. A master controller 21 is connected to the controller 24 and the chopper 15. When thus constructed, the chopper 15 can be controlled to obtain the prescribed shunt field current by a speed suppression notch command by the master controller 21 even if a tachometer generator is not provided, thereby enabling the speed suppression operation of the railcar.</p> |
