PURPOSE:To fix easily a die in a short time by providing a height adjusting device which sets adequately the vertical position of the die. CONSTITUTION:A height adjusting device consists of pillows 9 to be placed on positioning blocks 6 for determining the position of a die 33 and alters the height of the die 33 cooperatively with the die holders 11 of means 10 for tightening the die 33. Each pillow 9 consists of a member of a rectangular prism parallelepiped column shape consisting of a hard material such as metal which is placed horizontally. The pillow is placed on the step part 7 of the block 6. The pillow 9 is made different in the length on each side and therefore if the pillow is rotated 90 deg. around the longitudinal direction thereof, the height thereof is changeable. |
