PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molded body by a simplified apparatus enhanced in a molding speed, by continuously injecting a liquid thermosetting blowing agent into the hollow part of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material which is extruded from the metal die of an extrusion molding machine and held under a high temp. state to rapidly expand the same. CONSTITUTION:A trough shaped molded thermoplastic synthetic resin body 6 provided with an opening part 9 communicated with the hollow part 7 extending over the total longitudinal length thereof is extruded from the metal die 5 of an extrusion molding machine 1. A liquid thermosetting blowing agent 10 is continuously injected into the aforementioned hollow part 7 of the molded body 6 directly after extruded from the above mentioned metal die 5 held under a high temp. soft state and, directly after injection, the aforementioned molded body 6 is guided to a molding passage 3 where the aforementioned liquid blowing agent 10 is expanded to fill the hollow part 7. The molded body 6 is gradually cooled and cured while transferred through the molding passage 3 to continuously obtain a solid molded body 5 comprising the molded body 6 of which the hollow part 7 is filled with the expanded body 16. |
