PURPOSE:To facilitate the matching of optical axes and to suitably hold a distance between both a light emitting unit and a photoreceptor by providing a coil hold having a detector, a sensor unit which integrally holds the unit and the photoreceptor, and a housing which contains a wheel. CONSTITUTION:A housing 9 is composed of a cylindrical holder 21 extending from the casing 20 of a motor 1, a sensor unit 7 for holding integrally a light emitting unit 5 and a photoreceptor 6 contained in recesses 9 formed axially by cutting part of the peripheral wall of the holder 21, and a cover for blocking the hole end. In the housing 9 are integrally contained a disc-shaped wheel body 27, a cylindrical bush 28 extending at the center of the wheel body 27, and a cord wheel 4 press-fitted to a rotational shaft 2. At the peripheral edge of the wheel body 27 are formed detectors 3 via many slits, which pass the wheel body 27. |
