PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic card having excellent antistatic charging and slipping characteristics with respect to the magnetic card to be used for personnel management (attendance) or parts control by contg. a phenylenediamide deriv. of the specific formula for a conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The embodiment of a phenylenediamide deriv. is exemplified by m-phenylenediamine-bisstearic acid amide, m-phenylenediamine bispalmiticamide, m-phenylenediamine-bislauricamide, m-phenylenediamine bismyristicamide, etc. The amt. of the phenylenediamine deriv. to be added is preferably about 0.5- 10wt% by the weight of a conductive material, and if the amt. to be added is small, the effect for a slipping property is not enough and if it exceeds 10wt%, the strength of the conductive layer decreases, making the durability of the magnetic card insufficient. The conductive layer is formed simply by dissolving a resin binder in an org. solvent, mixing and dispersing a conductive material such as a conductive pigment with and in the soln., adding further the phenylenediamine deriv. of the formula thereto, dispersing uniformly the mixture to form a dispersion, coating such dispersion on a base and drying the coating. |
