PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive device with simple construction, by providing a work roll moving means with simple construction and an inexpensive bending means of work rolls capable of high lift rolling. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of side beams 14, 15 which are parallel to each other in the horizontal plane are installed vertically and movably in the vertical direction. A pair of work roll chocks 4, 5 for supporting freely rotatably work rolls 2, 3 having their axes parallel to one pair of the side beams 14, 15 between one pair of the side beams 14, 15 are installed through one pair of the side beams 14, 15. Further, moving means for moving the work rolls 2, 3 in their axial directions are connected to the work roll chocks 4, 5 respectively. And hydraulic devices 45 for actuating the work rolls 2, 3 for bending are installed between two pairs of the side beams 14, 15 installed oppositely in the vertical direction. |
