PURPOSE:To permit lens covers to equalize moment before and behind where temples contact ears, and to prevent a nose from being recessed and damaged by bridges of spectacles and also protect the lenses when temples are folded, by providing the lens covers to the temples. CONSTITUTION:Temples 2 are fitted to a spectacle frame by hinges 3, and a lens cover and stabilizer 4 is provided to the rear part of either temple 2 by a hinge 5; and this stabilizer 4 is made of plastics, rubber, etc., and when the temple 2 is held on an ear, the moment is equal before and behind it. Then, the stabilizer has such weight that the bridges of the spectacles do not touch the nose or contact it lightly, and is curved inwardly along a head shape without projecting, and this stabilizer is large and thick enough to cover the lenses 6. When the spectacles are put on, the lens cover and stabilizer 4 are pressed against side head parts lightly to increase the stability of the spectacles on the face. |
