PURPOSE:To perform stable fixation by arranging heater elements of a heater so that they become closer from the center part of the heater to end parts, and uniforming the temperature on the surface of a fixing heat roller over the entire area. CONSTITUTION:The heat roller 1 is supported by ball bearings 10 and 14, holders 11 and 15, and supporting plates 12 and 13 and incorporates the heater 2. Heater elements of this heater 2 are arranged closer toward end parts than at the center part to make heat generation greater at the end parts than at the center part. Consequently, the temperature on the heat roller surface is uniformed over the entire area and the fixation is performed stably. |
