PURPOSE:To control consecutively the reactive power by providing a phase advance capacity to a filter which eliminates the higher harmonic wave generated by the reactor control. CONSTITUTION:An HPF15 has a phase advance capacity and controls a switch 10 in response to the reactive power. In other words, the phase advance capacity of the HPF15 and the phase delay capacity of a reactor 11 are set opposite to the reactive power generated from a thyristor converter 5 under the control of the switch 10. As a result, the reactive power can be consecutively compensated. At the same time, the higher harmonic wave is produced when the control is carried out by the switch 10. The higher harmonic wave generated by the HPF15 can be absorbed. |
