PURPOSE:To attain the voice conversion for a word having the special pronunciation by registering the reading ways of special words to the 2nd dictionary and then delivering the reading way in voice out of the 2nd dictionary when the relevant special word is contained in a document. CONSTITUTION:A sentence read out of a sentence file 27 through a sentence reading part 28 is matched with a dictionary every word and undergoes the voice synthesization through a rule synthesizing part 31 and in accordance with the reading way obtained from the dictionary 26 when the identification of words is obtained. Then the synthesized sentence is outputted in voice through a voice output part 32. Thus the sentence is read out. The 2nd dictionary 25 stores both writing and reading ways of words having special pronunciations. If such a special word is contained in a sentence, the word is outputted in voice. The special reading way can be registered to the dictionary 25 from an input part 22 via a dictionary register part 24. |
