PURPOSE:To manufacture industrially the titled electrical steel sheet by cold rolling a hot rolled silicon steel sheet having a specified composition in two steps, carrying out the preliminary cold rolling before precipitating fine AlN, and balancing the draft in the preliminary cold rolling with the draft in the final cold rolling. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolled steel sheet contg. 2-4% Si, 0.02-0.04% sol. Al, and N is subjected to preliminary cold rolling at 15-40% draft. The sheet is annealed and rapidly cooled to make precipitated AlN fine. Final cold rolling is then carried out at 80-90% draft to finish a sheet of 0.15-0.25mm. thickness. The sheet is subjected to conventional decarburization annealing, finish annealing at high temp., and tension coating to obtain a product. |
