PURPOSE:To perform invariably excellent fixation by measuring the temperature on the reverse surface of a form irradiated with laser light linearly to the overall length of the form according to the irradiation position. CONSTITUTION:While the copy form 3 is conveyed in the irradiation area, the detecting element part 21 of a temperature sensor 21 contacts the reverse surface of the copy form 3. The detecting element part is, for example, a linear metallic resistance thermometer bulb formed by winding mica or glass with a platinum wire and fitted to a supporting body part. The temperature sensor 21 detects the temperature which varies according to the state of a toner image 12 or the thickness or quality of the copy form 3 successively to the overall width of the copy form 3. Consequently, this constitution provides invariably excellent fixation. |
