The present invention relates to an automatic method and machine for cutting and boxing products. This machine essentially comprises a frame 1 supporting a cutting tool 12, a conveyor 16 for entraining boxes 17, a conveyor 2 with fingers which is arranged on top of the frame 1 and which transports a series of tubes 7 joined to one another by means of an articulation 8, a first pair of endless belts 5 between which the tubes 7 pass, and a second pair of endless belts 6 following the first belt, these two pairs of belts having a longitudinal direction perpendicular to that of the conveyor with fingers. The machine of the invention applies, for example, to the automatic cutting of sausages and to the boxing of the cut pieces at a high rate. <IMAGE>
