PURPOSE:To enable a brake to reliably work even on a rainy day, by a method wherein a rain protector is mounted to the rear of a brake, and the adhering rain is always removed before a brake is effected. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 is formed at the rear of each brake to place a rain protector 2 therein. A projection 4 is formed on a shaft 3 which turns in linkage with the rain protector 2. When the projection 4 is engaged with a recess part 7 provided in the frame 1 by turning a knob 5 either clockwise or counterclockwise when it rains, the rain protector 2 protrudes from a brake through the action of a spring 6 and collides with a wheel 8, and turning of the wheel causes rain to be automatically removed previously. Thus, since rain is removed previously when a brake is set, the brake is prevented from slip, and even an aged man or a child, who has less grip, can easily set a brake, resulting in improvement of safety. |
