PURPOSE:To prevent a mis-input or decrease in job efficiency in advance by informing easily the operator of the input state of a title. CONSTITUTION:Devices 10, 20 are picture information storage retrieval devices having identical functions. In transmitting plural pieces of picture information from the device 20 to the device 10, the device 20 sets a data identifier DS and the number of transfer items TP, and transmits them to the device 10. Simultaneously, ''1'' is set to a counter in a main controller 21, and the set number of transferred items TP is displayed on a CRT display device 26. Further, contents of the counter are displayed on a CRT display device 26 as the number of titles, a title start identifier TOP and a title end identifier BOP are added to the head and end of the 1st title and they are transmitted to the device 10. After the transmission, the counter is counted up by ''1'', and it is compared with the number of transfer items TP, and until contents of the counter reach the number of transferred items TP, the similar operation is repeated. |
