<p>PURPOSE:To judge the deterioration degree of an insulated cable, by introducin Freon gas into a crosslinked polyethylene insulated cable sealed at one end thereof from the twisted wire conductor at the other end side thereof under pressure while sampling the Freon gas diffused under the sheath of the cable to analyze the same. CONSTITUTION:A CV cable 1 is constituted of a twisted wire conductor 2, a crosslinked polyethylene insulator 3 and a vinyl sheath 4. The cable 1 is sealed at one end thereof while Freon gas 5 is introduced into the cable 1 from the conductor 2 at the other end side thereof under pressure to pressurize the cable interior to atmospheric pressure or more. The gas 5 introduced under pressure is duffused under the sheath while dissolving impurities such as oxides or moisture in the insulator 3. The gas 5 having impurities or moisture dissolved therein is sampled by a sampler 6 mounted under the sheath 4 at the terminal part of the cable other end side to be subjected to componential analysis. For example, when nitrogen oxide is of a predetermined value or more by the componential analysis, the deterioration of the insulator can be judged.</p> |
