The subject of the invention relates to an automatic alarm device for lifts. It consists of a controller unit 2 operating, via the push button 1 of the operating panel, the sound signals 4 at the same time as the triggering 5 of a programmed telephone number. It is intended to allow the novel application, in addition to the conventional alarm systems, of an automatic telephone link between the out-of-action lift and the engineering fault-clearing department. <IMAGE>
