The case forming a rack for bottles comprises two large sides 1, 2 forming a bottom and a top, two small sides 3, 4 joining the bottom and the top, a base wall 5 provided with centring devices 6 and at least one panel or grid 10 engaged in that one of the sides of the case which is open, this panel or grid 10 also forming centring devices for the bottles in cooperation with those of the base in order to keep the surfaces of the said bottles separated. <IMAGE>
