<p>A device for facilitating the destruction and storage for disposal of used hypodermic needles and syringe tips. The device comprises a closed housing (10) with apertures (11) and (12) so dimensioned to receive a hypodermic needle and syringe tip and to allow its severance whereby it falls into a storage receptacle (15) or (20). Retention means within the housing prevents the discharge of needle and syringe tips from the housing. </p> |
