The lowerable record player chassis achieves the effect of reducing the height of the housing required for secondary components, mini components and loudspeakers by about 9 cm by lowering the chassis and raising it for playing a record only by half the height of the chassis, and likewise dimensioning the depth of the housing for these apparatuses as only about 23 cm, and not according to the diameter of a long playing record.
