PURPOSE:To decrease the difference between the temperature of upper part and that of lower part of a room and increase the room cooling effect without imparting uncomfortable feeling to the resident by providing a non-cool air blow- off port through which non-cool air is sent to a part lower than the cool air blow-off port of the titled cooler. CONSTITUTION:When a cooling operation switch 14 is turned ON, a blower 4 is actuated, and indoor air sucked up from a suction port 3 on the back surface of the main body 2 of the floow setting type cooler is subjected to heat exchange in a heat exchanger 5, and thereafter cooled air is blown off upwardly in a front slant direction toward a ceiling 9. In this case, indoor air that is non- cooled air, which has been sucked up from a cooled air suction port 11, is blown off to the resident area through a non-cooled air blow-off port 12 provided at the lower part of the main body 2 of the cooler. As described above, the difference between the temperatures at the upper and lower parts of the room can be decreased and the room cooling effect can be improved by blowing non-cooled air during the cooling operation. |
