An apparatus for detecting the equivalence point of a redox measuring cell whose potential is time-dependent is characterised in that the apparatus (2) comprises a double-differentiation device (6, 8), to whose input the time-dependent measuring cell voltage is fed and whose output signal changes sign when the point of inflection in the time curve of the measuring cell voltage is reached. This eliminates the effect of the absolute level of the measuring cell voltage on the accuracy of the determination of the point of inflection.
