The safety door leaf made of wood, in particular a front door leaf, consists of struts which form a frame and on which the door leaf outer surfaces and, between these, a number of rods, which are distributed over the entire door leaf surface, are arranged. Arranged in opposite struts (3, 4) are bores (8) which are in each case aligned in pairs. Of these bores (8), in each case at least one is designed as a continuous bore. The ends (7') of the rods (7) are arranged in a fixed manner in the bores (8). The rod cross-sections correspond to the bore cross-sections. <IMAGE>
