PURPOSE:To obtain a resin pipe having a deformed portion and requiring no surface finishing in a short time by a simple method in which a deformed portion is molded by injection using an insert for the pipe previously molded into a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A pipe portion (a) obtained by cutting a pipe material in a desired size is fitted and set on the axis of an insert 1 and then put in molds 2a and 2b for injection molding. In this case, the pipe portion (a) is fitted on the insert 1 until the tapered axis portion 1a of the insert 1 is projected from the end side. When the molds 2a and 2b are locked, a cavity 2c corresponding to the tapered pipe portion is formed in the molds, and a resin is injected into the cavity 2c from an injection nozzle 5 through a runner 4. Molded resin pipe (a+b) is taken, together with the insert 1, out of the molds, and the insert 1 is drawn out of the molded pipe to obtain a molded resin pipe as a final product. |
