PURPOSE:To generate quickly a desired waveform signal with just an input of a linear pattern similar to the desired waveform signal by collecting and storing automatically the waveform information which is used to generate the waveform signal from an input forms. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal binary coded by a binary coding circuit 3 is supplied to a picture buffer memory 8, a start point detecting circuit 9 and a linear mark detecting circuit 10 respectively. The memory 8 can store picture signals equivalent to >=2 scan lines. The picture signal is fetched right after the ON of the output signal of the circuit 10 during an ON state of the input signal of a start point mark detecting circuit 9. The fetching of the picture signal is discontinued when the output signal of the circuit 10 is turned off. The memory 8 delivers serially the picture signals equivalent to 3 scan lines for each picture element, and a (3X3) picture element pattern is obtained at a matrix 11. This pattern is added to a counter 14 via a line thinning discontinuation detecting circuit 12 and a white/black inversion detecting circuit 13. Thus the relative position is obtained to the standard position on the scan line and applied to a memory 16 to obtain a similar waveform. |
