PURPOSE:To prevent the clogging of nozzles without providing any mechanical mechanism by continuously driving a vibrator at such a low frequency as discharging no ink particle and by a signal small in the amplitude when recording is not done. CONSTITUTION:When recording is not done, a control circuit 2 turns a switch 3 to the position of an output terminal 3c while allowing a pseudo ''black'' recording signal to be generated continuously at a fixed time interval from a recording signal generation circuit 1. This pseudo recording signal is demodulated with an output pulse of a division circuit 7 with a modulation circuit 4b and the resultant demodulated signal is fed to a vibrator 16 via an amplifier 6b, a low pass filter 8 and an amplifier 9. The signal thus fed to the vibrator 16 is lowered in the frequency and reduced in the amplitude as compared with this signal during the recording. This allow no ink particle to be discharged from a nozzle 15 and in stead, the vibration of the vibrator 16 fluidizes ink ceaselessly from an ink chamber 11 to the nozzle 15 thereby eliminating clogging of the nozzle 15. |
