PURPOSE:To prevent the blocking of rubber pellets during storage by a method in which when mixing rubber pellets with a high fatty acid or/and its salt, a sufficient amount of a higher fatty acid or/and its salt is adhered to the rubber pellets in the presence of an alcohol. CONSTITUTION:In producing less-sticky rubber pellets from a rubber and a higher fatty acid or/and its salt, the pellets of a rubber are produced and then mixed, before being coagulated, with the fine powder of a higher fatty acid or/ and its salt in the presence of an alcohol to cover the surfaces of the pellets. As an alcohol, methanol or ethanol is preferably used in particular, and the preferred amount of the alcohol is about 5-400pts.wt. on the basis of 100pts.wt. higher fatty acid or/and its salt. |
