PURPOSE:To perform monitoring over a wide discontinuous range by providing an auxiliary monitor area in addition to the main monitor area of a display device, and carrying out the monitoring simultaneously in both areas. CONSTITUTION:An automatic computer program generator 1 consists of a CRT 19 as a display device, a keyboard 20 as an input device, CPU11, etc. and a generated program is displayed as a ladder diagram on the CRT19 and also transferred to a controller 2 and an external storage device (EPROM4, etc.). The main area for monitoring is provided in the display screen of the CRT19 and the auxiliary area is further provided; and programs in plural areas having discontinuous program addresses are monitored in multiple basis in the auxiliary monitor area. |
