This drive head has been developed for the purpose of simplifying repairs and the rewinding or winding on of video and audio cassettes of the Video 2000, VHS, Beta and compact cassette systems. It is very useful as a tool for manual rewinding and winding on in repairs and visual inspections of the tapes, and can also be used on tape-cleaning and rewinding machines. Since this for the first time provides the possibility of using one machine to work on the most popular video and audio tapes, the conclusion is that machine expenditure is reduced decisively (one machine instead of three or four). In addition, to my knowledge there has never before been a universal tool for the manual transporting of video and audio cassettes during repair and inspection work.
