PURPOSE:To improve productivity, uniformity, and high-speed performance by using the polyester cord having each specified elongation rate and dry heat shrinkage rate, for the reinforcing cord arranged on the outermost layer in a steel-belt layer. CONSTITUTION:The reinforcing cord 7a in a belt cover layer 7 is arranged at an inclination angle of 0-10 deg. with respect to the circumferential direction of a tire on the outside steel belt layer 5u in a belt layer, and said reinforcing cord 7a is formed of the polyester cord having an elongation rate of 0.8-3.0% and a dry heat shrinkage rate of below 2.0% under a load of 225g/d. With such constitution, productivity, uniformity, and high-speed performance can be improved. |
