PURPOSE:To enable steel sheets or the like to be speparated and fed speedily and securely without waste by holding the sheets on the underside of a conveyer and passing only one sheet through a slit with a pusher to drop the remaining sheets under the original state. CONSTITUTION:A holder 6 bears against the upper surface of the uppermost sheet material 3 to hold and move upward the sheet material 3 which contacts the lower surface of rollers 12 of a conveyer 10 to be received by the roller 12 and held on the lower surface of the roller 12 by the magnetic attraction of the holder 6. Here, when the holder 6 attracts two sheet materials 3 at a time, the conveyer 10 holds the two sheet materials 3 on the lower surface and a pusher 16 pushes only the uppermost sheet material 3 so that the uppermost sheet material 3 enters the interior of a slit 18. The lower remaining sheet material 3, however, abuts against the lower end face of the slit 18 and drops onto the stacked sheet materials 3. Thus, the stacked sheet materials can be separated and fed very speedily and securely without waste. |
